Rules

  • Barbless hooks only - maximum size 8.
  • All keep/landing nets must be dipped prior to fishing.
  • Keep nets are permitted only during matches.
  • Carp friendly keep/landing nets only.
  • All fish must be landed in a landing net regardless of size.
  • Maximum 1Kg of groundbait per session.
  • Fish being weighed/returned must be moved down the net whilst it’s in the water, they must not be taken from the water and rolled down the net.
  • All rigs must be free-running.
  • No bolt rigs.
  • No floating baits.
  • Single hook rigs only.
  • No braided line (including hook lengths).
  • Litter must be placed in the bins/skip provided.
  • Fishing permitted from 7am until sunset.
  • Night fishing strictly by prior appointment only.
  • All lines (baited or not) must be removed from the water prior to leaving the peg.
  • One person to each peg.
  • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Additional Requests

  • Respect our staff and other anglers - verbal/physical abuse of either will result in a permanent ban from the fishery and may involve a police prosecution.
  • Keep the noise down.

Any angler breaking these rules will be asked to leave the fishery and may be banned for life.
